To show how we care for the unfortunate children and the destitute aged, Leeden hosted its 5th Charity Golf 2011 on 8th September 2011 at the Raffles Country Club to raise funds for them. Through this event, Leeden raised a total of S$27,000 for Bo Tien Welfare Services Society, a non-profit and voluntary welfare organization and the Anjali House for the adoption of orphans in Cambodia.

The event was well-supported by 153 golfers, including our Directors, business partners, principals, valued customers as well as staff from Leeden. After an 18-hole game at the Palm Course in the blazing hot sun, the golfers were treated to a sumptuous dinner at Shan Shui Palace Restaurant in the club. During the dinner, Mr Steven Tham, Chairman and CEO of Leeden, presented a cheque with the sum of S$12,000 to His Excellency Pou Sothirak for the Anjali House and the cheque with the sum of S$15,000 to Mr Chris Cheng for Bo Tien Welfare Services Society. These funds will be channeled to providing food, shelter, protection and education for the orphans at the Anjali House and better nursing and health care services for the destitute aged at Bo Tien.
