Leeden Limited was presented with a wooden plaque to mark 30 years of rewarding partnership with Nederman on the 2 March 2010. Mr Per-Ove Eriksson (VP Sales International), flanked by Mr Magnus Hammarlund (Sales Director Asia) from Nederman, Sweden presented the plague to Mr Philip Chan.

 Leeden was appointed Nederman exclusive distributor in Singapore and Malaysia since 1980, and in recent years added the territories of Indonesia, Brunei and Vietnam. Like Leeden, Nederman started off with humble beginning as a company manufacturing metal ducts for factory ventilation. They went on to provide flexible arm for capture-at-source extraction of welding fumes that have made Nederman world famous since. They are now an international company with wide product offerings and solutions for the following:-

• Metal working industries - Welding and cutting fumes, oil mist extraction, on-torch/ robotic welding fumes extraction and industrial filters.
• Vehicle repair shops and automotive - Automotive exhaust extraction, lubricant collection and dispensing as well as workshop cleaning.
• Emergency stations - Large volume, exhaust extraction system for emergency service vehicles.
• Composites working industries - On-tool dust extraction, industrial house cleaning vacuum system.
• Food/ Pharma/ Chemical industries - EX extraction arm for fumes and light dust, EX hose reels, industrial cleaning system and filters.
• Machining - Metal swarf and chips collection, oil mist/ coolant filtration and tramp oil separation from CNC machining production process.
• Shipyard and offshore - Blasting grit/ shot collection and recovery, tank super stripping system and ATEX approved vacuum systems

Leeden has grown successfully with Nederman throughout the 30 years partnership. With recent successful installations in REC, ASM Technology, BMW showroom, NUS Design and Wood workshop, Temasek Polytechnic wood workshop, Continental tyres, International Flavour and Fragrance, PCS in Jurong Island, ST Group of companies and shipyards in Vietnam, the list just goes on and on. We have proven our competency on the full range of Nederman products and solutions. With the set-up of our Technical Services Department headed by Mr Tommy Lim, we have expanded and improved our range of services to existing and new customers. The Technical Services Department is in charge of repair and maintenance as well as technical consulting equipped with a full range of diagnostic tools.

 Mr PO Eriksson congratulated Leeden on the set up of the Technical Services Department and remarked “Having a dedicated technical service department is definitely the right direction going forward and this will strongly differentiate us from our competition.”
